WOW! What a couple of months this has been! The girls are turning 1 in less than 2 weeks. Izzie is walking all over the place but still isn't completely sure of herself. So she plops on her butt all the time. Hannah is catching up and will take a few unassisted steps when you're not paying attention. She's catching up to her sister really quickly though! Both love any word starting with BA and will sing LALALA if you start them off. MaMa, DaDa, and PaPa are words regulary used. Izzie loves to dance and Hannah is more of our singer. Both love to laugh uncontrollably and this can be accomplished with tickles and bouncing their chins. Books are the most important thing in these girls lives though. First thing they want to do in the morning is grab a book and read with Grammy.

Big changes to our family as well as Chris was elected Ward 1 City Commissioner. The girls and the nephews did alot of campaigning and luckily in the end it paid off! For Chris with the seat and the boys get Chucky Cheeses!

Hallaween was a first for the girls as well. Hannah was a peapod and Izzie wanted to be hot stuff a chili pepper! They adorned their costumes at the Zoo Boo, the Spooky Science Spectacular (where Mom and Dad were voluteering), the Church Halloween Party and on Halloween night. The girls only collected a handful of suckers to try! Which have now been banned after the girls got addicted immediately!

We decided to try something a little different for their first year photos and are doing a combination of pictures taken by a friend as well as a psuedo studio shot taken by me (eventually). It being hard to get the girls to pose in a studio we thought we'd try this approach to get some more natural fun shots! Enjoy!
